"Homeland, Love and Jeans. Genoa in novel", guided tour

An emancipated young woman, two runaways, the “Genoa canvas” and the birth of “jeans” in the mid-19th century city.
We have created for you a narrated walk through the historic center, loosely inspired by Michele Mozzati’s novel “Quel blu di Genova” published by “La nave di Teseo.”

Patriots, emigrants, merchants, shipowners, brave women, the origins of the world’s most beloved pantaloon: they are all there, in a mix of the real and the verisimilar that you will discover as you follow the guided tour.

The tour unfolds between the Old Port and Piazza Banchi, through carrugi and piazzas, settings of our history of love, passion, resourcefulness and courage.
