Carlo Acutis (1991-2006), the “patron saint of the Internet,” died at age 15 of leukemia and was buried nearby in the Basilica of Assisi as St. Francis.
He has been venerated blessed by the Catholic Church since 2020.
If St. Francis were living today, he would be wearing blue jeans.
